1 Samuel 20:41 - As soon as the boy was gone, David came out from where he had been hiding near the stone pile. Then David bowed three times to Jonathan with his face to the ground. Both of them were in tears as they embraced each other and said good-bye, especially David.

1. Does music or singing play any role in your relationship with Jesus?

Ephesians 5:19-20 - (19) Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your hearts to the Lord,  (20) - always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2. Is there ever a circumstance where it is not proper to Give Thanks?

I Thessalonians 5:18 - Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

3. What do you do when your heart feels OVERWHELMED?

Psalm 61:2 - From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. (3) - for you are my safe refuge, a fortress where my enemies cannot reach me. (4) - Let me dwell in Your tent forever; Let me take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. Selah.

4. What do you do when you feel discouraged?

Daniel 6:10 - Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.

How Do We Bless The Lord?

1. Our Faith

Hebrews 11:6 - But Without faith it is impossible to please God, he that comes to God must believe that He is and the He is a rewarder of them who diligently seek Him.

2 Chronicles 20:20 - Early in the morning they left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, "Listen to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem! Have faith in the LORD your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful (prosper)."

2. Our Praise

2 Chronicles 20:21 - After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the LORD and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying: "Give thanks to the LORD, for His faithful love endures forever!” (22) - At the very moment they began to sing and give praise, the LORD caused the armies of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir to start fighting among themselves.

3. Our Faithfulness in Loving, Giving and Serving

Matthew 25:40 - “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!'”

1 Corinthians 15:58 - Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
